2025 CAVC Summer Camps

Overview

CAVC will host three volleyball camps for Elementary, Middle, and High School athletes this summer. All camps are open to boys and girls!

1. CAVC Schools Out Camp (grades 1-12)
   Monday, June 9, 2025 - Thursday, June 12, 2025
   $109 Early Bird Rate (register by April 30)
   $129 Regular Rate (register between May 1 and June 1)
    
2. CAVC Developmental Camp (grades 1-5) & CAVC Tryout Prep Camp (grades 6-12)
   Monday, July 28, 2025 - Thursday, July 31, 2025
   $109 Early Bird Rate (register by June 30)
   $129 Regular Rate (register between July 1 and July 20)

Session Details

All camps will be held at The Covenant Upper School in the Hickory Gymnasium. Camp sessions will be broken up into Elementary, Middle, & High School athletes. Sessions will be at the following times, based on incoming grade level:

Elementary School Camp Sessions | Grades 1-5
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

This camp will focus on introducing beginner to intermediate players to the fundamentals of the game of volleyball. Players will attend small group sessions based upon individual skills. We will review all volleyball fundamentals, including passing, setting, serving, and attacking. Intermediate players will strengthen existing skills and focus on live game play.

Middle School Camp Sessions | Grades 6-8
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This camp will focus on developing a well-rounded volleyball skillset in beginner to advanced intermediate players. Players will attend small group sessions based upon individual skills. We will build on the fundamentals, including passing, setting, serving, and attacking to expand athletes' skillset. We will also work on combining skills in a variety of live game play scenarios.

High School Camp Sessions | Grades 9-12
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This camp will prepare athletes for Varsity and JV Volleyball by solidifying players' fundamentals and implementing them in fast-paced, live game play.

Registration
Athletes should register for the camp compatible with their grade level for the 2025-26 school year. Limited spots are available for each camp, so we can serve each athlete well. Please register early to ensure your spot!

Schools Out Summer Camp

Registration opens on Tuesday, April 8, and closes on Sunday, June 1, at 11:59 pm. Athletes that register by Wednesday, 4/30, will automatically receive an $109 Early Bird Rate.

Should your plans change, email charlottesvillevolleyball@gmail.com to let us know as soon as possible. Registration fees are fully refundable until the early bird registration deadline. From May 1 to May 26 (two weeks before camp), registration fees are 50% refundable. After May 26, registration fees are non-refundable.

Developmental Summer Camp & Tryout Prep Summer Camp

Registration opens on Tuesday, April 8, and closes on Sunday, July 20, at 11:59 pm. Athletes that register by Monday, 6/30, will automatically receive a $109 Early Bird Rate.

From July 1 to July 14 (two weeks before camp), registration fees are 50% refundable. After July 14, registration fees are non-refundable.
