Tryouts for all levels of our 2023-24 girls' travel teams will be held on Saturday, September 30 - Sunday, October 1, 2023. Tryouts will be held at the Covenant Upper School gymnasium.
Athletes should attend both days of tryouts to receive a full tryout evaluation prior to team placement. Athletes age 10-19 who are eligible to compete on U13-U18 teams may tryout. Athletes in the 11U or 12U age group are welcome to tryout for our 13U age group. Tryout times will be based on the athlete's age group. Please review the USA Volleyball age definition chart below to find your age group.
Tryout Times
Players should attend the appropriate tryout session based on their USA Volleyball age group (see above USAV chart to determine age group):
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm • 13U and 14U
2:30 pm - 4:30 pm • 15U
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm • 16U
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm • 17U and 18U
Tryout sessions for each age group are held at the same time on both Saturday, 9/30, and Sunday, 10/1. Please attend both sessions to complete your tryout.
Levels of Competition
CAVC offers three levels of competition, Club, Power, and Elite. Each age group may offer teams of one, two, or all three of these levels of competition, depending on the demand and level of play of athletes at tryouts. Tryout Registration
Registration is required to participate in tryouts. Please click on the link below to register. Tryout registration costs $129. For athletes that register by September 20, a special early bird rate of $99 will be offered. Tryout registration will close on Friday, September 29, at 8:00 pm.
